Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
— Malachi 3:10, NIV

Giving is an integral part of our relationship with God. It is an act of worship that allows us to give back to God what He has given to us. It is an act of faith and a statement of priority. It's our opportunity to make God number one in our lives. A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God's resources well and model Jesus to our brothers, sisters, and community.
