“I used to be afraid at failing at something that really mattered to me, but now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.”
— Bob Goff

For the Church, to succeed at things that don’t matter is a tragedy.  When Jesus was asked what the most important thing was, he replied, “Love. . . . Love God with all your heart, and love other people like you love yourself.”

What, then, is love? What does it look like?  Could it be that love has been watered down in our culture, in our lives, in our churches?

The Christian faith points to God’s love as our standard, and that is a love of action.  Love is not stationary.  Love moves.  It acts.  Love does something.

United Wesleyan desires to be a church that lives this kind of love.  we invite you to join us as we embrace this adventure of putting God’s love into action in our church, our lives, families, neighborhoods, and our everyday lives through Love Does.
